decisions, we make them all the time...so goes the ad for an investment bank.

yesterday in a mathree, there was this lady who had to have her son sit on her lap so that she paid fare for only one person. the boy looked to be about 10-12 years old. old enough to have his own seat.

in this same nairobi, the 62 seat buses for the braeside, brookhouse schools et al are nearly always empty in the morning. enough space for a boy his age.

so what did the parents of the children in the matatu and bus do differently? and where do i want my kids to be, the matatu or school bus.
